Advocacy and Networking

MECFS Canterbury connects and works with other organisations and individuals to increase awareness of ME/CFS and advocate for better services and research.

 

We collaborate with other organisations such as the national ME/CFS association, ANZMES; Te Whatu Ora Waitaha (formerly the Canterbury District Health Board); and Te Whatu Ora Te Tai o Poutini (formerly West Coast DHB).

We are available to present to groups about ME/CFS and appropriate patient-centred care and supports. Please get in touch with us if this would be helpful for your workplace or organisation.
